Public inconvenience

I am writing to implore you (North Ayrshire Council) not to close the public toilets on Arran next year.

To do so on a predominantly tourist island would be paramount to commercial suicide. Where will tourists go to the loo when out and about at the beaches and villages of Arran?

In fact, if anything, you need more toilets. There are none at Blackwaterfoot beach at all, a trip to this beach is always cut short to go to the loo somewhere. Or we go to Whiting Bay just because it has toilets.
