Half way to summit for footpath appeal

Conservation charity, the National Trust for Scotland is more than halfway towards its target for its annual footpath fund. In just four weeks, supporters have pledged more than £85,000 to support the charity’s work to care for Scotland’s mountains.

But, with more than 400 kilometres of footpaths and 46 Munros under its care, including Goatfell, the trust is calling on people to show their love for the hills by making a donation, and by sharing their experiences of Scotland’s stunning natural heritage and landscapes online.
