Members of AMRT, HM Coastguard and the RNLI attend to the casualty.
Arran Mountain Rescue team (AMRT) was called out at 14.30pm on Sunday May 21 to help Arran Coastguard Rescue Team and Arran RNLI with a female walker who had injured her ankle on the Coastal Way near Bennan Head.
Because of difficult ground where the casualty was located, the team made its way down from the cliff top above and along with the Arran RNLI crew moved the casualty into the team stretcher ready for transfer to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock by helicopter.
