Heavy defeat confirms relegation for Arran

Arran Rugby Club were heavily beaten in their final league match of the season as they went down 94-5 against Stewartry Rugby Club on Saturday.

The defeat confirms Arran’s relegation back to West Region Division 3, following one very difficult season in West Division 2.

Arran were looking to build on their fine home win over Cumnock the previous weekend but with several key lads missing they could only muster 12 players for the match.
