A blaze caused extensive damage to a house in Shiskine while the occupants are believed to have been on holiday.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: ‘At 2.39pm on Wednesday November 23 the service was called to a fire at a property in Shiskine. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus help to extinguish the blaze using a powerful water jet.
‘Crews remained at the scene for dampening down and salvaging purposes before leaving at 4.09pm. No injuries were reported.’
