Path to falls to be shut for six months for tree felling

The main path to the popular Glenashdale Falls in Whiting Bay will be shut for the whole of next summer, the Banner can reveal.

The Forestry Commission is to close the path to allow the felling of trees. The forestry road, to the south of the falls, will also have to be blocked off for a shorter period because of the heavy machinery which will be required for the work.
