Pupils tackle hard-hitting issues as joint cabinet meets on Arran

Young people from Arran High School tackled a host of hard-hitting issues as they played host to a youth cabinet meeting before the schools broke up on holiday last week.

The morning session was the latest in a series of joint meetings involving North Ayrshire Council’s cabinet, senior officers, members of the Scottish youth parliament (MSYP) and the youth council executive.

Youth champion Peter McNamara discusses proposals and suggestions from pupils.
