Southend bounced back from their defeat to Brodick last week with an emphatic win away to Shiskine.

The home team were without the suspended John Murchie so rumours were rife that former Scotland international Stevie Thompson was being scouted by Franky to fill in. However, Stevie was only there to spectate while Franky watched on worried about his future in the Shiskine job as Ally McCoist had also been spotted in talks at the Kinloch.
