Greg Vaughan lost his right arm while battling cancer as a boy. But he hasn’t let this get in the way of his photography career, shooting fashion editorials — and Attitude’s latest cover star

1 t all started when the school nurse found a lump on the underside of my upper arm and sent me home with a note. I was eight years old and living in the small Alaskan fishing community of Kodiak. A few days later, I saw a doctor and from there I was quickly flown to Anchorage for further tests.

A biopsy confirmed I had osteosarcoma, otherwise known as bone cancer, and I found myself subject to ongoing rounds of chemotherapy, lasting 18 months.
