After 15 years away — and having lived in places from Barcelona and Rome to an abandoned hilltop monastery in the Italian region of Umbria, esteemed dancer, mime, teacher and artist LINDSAY KEMP is back in the UK. Born in Cheshire, the man credited with teaching David Bowie to dance as well as inspiring his look, interest in make-up and his stage shows, first left Britain in the Seventies. He spent the past five years in Livorno, a little seaport town near Tuscany, where he’s continued to dance and draw at the age of 78. Why break the habit of a lifetime?
