CHANNING TATUM AT LAST YEAR’S L.A. PRIDE
Los Angeles hasn’t always been famous as a cultural capital — outside of the entertainment industry it was the all-yearround glorious weather and the consequential lifestyle which attracted people. In the past decade, however, the city has seen an influx of artists from New York, due to lower rent and extra space — brinnging with them a cultural renaissance for the city. It’s overflowing with museums, from the iconic LACMA (museum of art to you and me) to the newly opened Broad, live music venues abound, and in June it hosts the brilliant L.A. Pride.
