A deck is the perfect way to extend your entertaining space or create a transition point between your home and garden. We also present some of the highlights from the 2013 Chelsea Flower Show, famed for its splendid show gardens. Winning a medal for one of these gardens is a career highlight, but the most prestigious award is Best in Show. This year that honour went to the Trailfinders’ Australian Garden, designed by Melbourne’s Phillip Johnson and presented by Fleming’s Nurseries.
