How to Use and Condition Guide

How To Use & Condition Guide

What’s Listed Products listed in the Price Guide typically: (1) are produced by licensed major manufacturers, (2) are widely available, (3) have market activity on single cards and (4) focus on players active at the time of issue.

What the Columns Mean The LO and HI columns reflect current retail selling ranges. The HI column generally represents full retail selling price. The LO column generally represents the lowest price one could expect to find with extensive shopping.

Multipliers Parallel sets and lightly traded insert sets are listed with multipliers to provide values of unlisted cards. Multiplier ranges (i.e. 20X to 40X HI) apply only to the HI column. Example: If base card A lists for 20 to 50 cents, and the multiplier is “20X to 40X HI”, then the parallel version of card A or the insert card in question is valued at $10 to $20.

Pricing Premiums Some cards can trade at premium price levels compared to values listed in this issue. Those include but are not limited to: cards of players who became hot since this issue went to press, regional stars or fan favorites in high demand locally, and memorabilia cards with unusually dramatic swatches or patches.

Stated Odds and Print Runs Odds of pulling inserts are listed as a ratio (1:12 = one in 12 packs). If the odds vary by pack type, they are listed separately. Stated odds are provided by the manufacturer based on the entire print run and should not be viewed as a guarantee by neither Beckett Media LP nor the manufacturer.

Currency This Price Guide reflects the North American market. All listed prices are in U.S. dollars. Based on the current exchange rate, prices in Canadian dollars are 35% to 50% higher.

A GOOD BREW [ER]
Christian Yelich, the National League batting champion and presumed 2018 MVP, has been getting plenty of high-fives in his first season in Milwaukee.
CHRISTIAN YELICH Rookie Card Guide
There’s a good chance you have a Christian Yelich Rookie Card or two biding its time in a box somewhere. Even if you recognized his talent early on in a baseball sense, the hobby has lagged behind. For Christian Yelich, it has taken a Triple Crown-caliber season, clutch September play and helping Milwaukee into the postseason. Yelich Rookie Cards are in 2013 sets released in the latter part of the card calendar. That means there really aren’t a lot when put alongside many of his peers. But that also means a healthy number of prospect and minor league cards that came out in the years before. These started in 2010, not long after Yelich was taken in the first round of the draft. The following Christian Yelich Rookie Card list highlights cards that have the RC tag in the Beckett Baseball Card Database and Price Guide. Inserts and parallels are not taken into account.
OTHER EARLY CHRISTIAN YELICH CARDS OF NOTE
Yelich has several important early cards that aren’t traditional Rookie Cards. Here are some of the highlights, although it is not an exhaustive list. A full Yelich card checklist is available in the Beckett database.
