The No.1 prospect in the game right now, Franco turns 19 about the time he reports for spring training. He also hasn’t played a game above Double-A, but that hasn’t stopped collectors from tossing real cash at some of the kid’s better cards. Last year, the 1/1 Franco Superfractor from 2019 Bowman Baseball, sold in a private transaction for at least $60,000. The Rays have Willy Adames at shortstop entering the season, and he has shown some pop, but Franco is on his way …if not this year, then next. Here’s betting he’s a late-season call up in 2020.
