The Industry Summit has announced that the virtual event will kick off with a keynote address by Chicago Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary, on Monday, October 19. The address is sponsored by GTS Distribution.
“Da Captain of Da Bears” for 10 seasons, Singletary is best known for intensity and leadership throughout his storied career that included the 1985 Super Bowl Championship. He was named All-Pro 1st team eight times and was a 10-time Pro Bowler. Additional career highlights include twice being named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, being honored as the NFL Man of the Year in 1990 and the Bart Starr Award recipient in 1991, presented annually to the player who “best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community.”
