REBOOTED: Garcia will now target bigger names

“I’M back”, yelled a jubilant Danny Garcia at the conclusion of his seventhround stoppage of Adrian Granados at Dignity Health Sports Park (TGB Promotions). But if truth be told, he was never away. Losing a tight decision to Shawn Porter as Garcia did in his last fight did not exactly put him onto the scrap heap, but the former twoweight world champion understood his career needed a reboot. Garcia got it on this evening by being the first to stop Granados, who thought he was ready for the career breakthrough which had always eluded him. Garcia, 31, was utterly dominant turning in his best performance in a while. He never allowed Granados (Cicero, Illinois) to get started, dropping him twice in the second round and then again in the fifth.
