A CHARITY fundraising webpage set up by two men who died in an air crash has more than doubled its target.
Light aircraft pilot Tony Woodward and his friend Bob Archer were returning from a sponsored climb of Ben Nevis last week when their Piper-PA28 was reported missing on Thursday afternoon after it failed to arrive at Carlisle.
The plane had taken off from Oban after the nine-and-a-half-hour walk to raise money for Surrey’s Shooting Star Chase children’s charity.
