CHANGING weather meant mixed fortunes for golfers in Dunaverty’s July medal.
While the morning players enjoyed warm weather and a fairly stiff breeze, the afternoon and evening participants had to contend with stronger winds and, at times, heavy rain.
Malcolm Ronald, out in the first threeball, took advantage of the better conditions in returning a winning nett score of 56 with an inform Sandy Watson, who had the best gross score of 70, in second place on 60.
