Baled plastics price drop threatens 26 recycling jobs

A huge drop in the price paid for baled plastic could bankrupt a Kintyre recycler and threaten 26 jobs. Kintyre Recycling Ltd (KRL) has asked Argyll and Bute Council, which pays it £160,000 to collect waste for recycling, for a £50,000 raise in its annual budget.
