In the Courier on November 10 both Tony Williams and William Crossan say that NHS Scotland is the most successful in the UK and I have no doubt that both gentlemen are quite correct in stating that.
Better than the rest it may be but it is still shambolic. Waiting times for operations are far beyond expectations. I was referred for a total hip replacement on April 3 2017 and I believe that the standard waiting time for this type of operation is 18 weeks.
