THE SECOND round of Tarbert’s Archie MacNab memorial cup will be keenly contested by three players on 37 points each.
The first round of the match, which is played for on a stableford basis, last weekend, saw vice captain, Chris Smyth, take the early clubhouse lead with 37 points with halves of 18 and 19 respectively. Bruce MacNab matched Chris with his gross 71 giving him the same 37 points.
Iain MacArthur teed it up in the early evening and had a great front nine securing 21 points before fading slightly over the last few holes, adding 16 points for his second nine.
