MASONS in Campbeltown have generously donated £400 to the Mairi Semple Fund for Cancer Relief and Research, to be spent on helping cancer patients in the area.
The fund celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. As well as providing much-needed support for people in and around Kintyre, the fund also makes donations to research organisations.
Members of St Kiaran RAC158 presented the money to the fund on Tuesday at Campbeltown Masonic Hall. From left: Mark Pickering, 1st Soj; Iain Mc- Millan, Scribe; Billy Johnstone, IPZ; and Kathleen McGougan and Pauline Simson, who chairs the Mairi Semple Fund.
