A man who admitted shouting and swearing at a woman in Campbeltown has had his sentence deferred.
Barry McIvor, 46, of 20 Bayview, Machrihanish, pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner on November 13 in a common close outside a Campbeltown address when he appeared at Campbeltown Sheriff Court.
Procurator fiscal depute Eoin McGinty said McIvor and the woman had drunk ‘a considerable amount’ of alcohol together in a pub before McIvor left at 9.30pm.
