CHERRY POP
In 1988, it seemed possible that Climie Fisher might just become Britain’s Hall & Oates. As purveyors of slickly produced blue-eyed soul-pop, the duo enjoyed international hits with Rise To The Occasion and Love Changes (Everything).
Debut album Everything reached the UK Top 20 and second offering Coming In For The Kill, released in 1989, was supposed to seal the deal. Instead, the long-player never quite landed with the public.
Simon Climie and Rob Fisher split shortly after its release.
