GRAEME PARK
It was 30 years ago, in the summers of 1988 and ‘89, that a euphoric new kind of dance music called house set the world aflame. Graeme Park was one of the DJs who kindled the blaze in overheated nights at the now legendary Haçienda club in Manchester. As house spread around the globe, Parky was one of the first British DJs to take to the world stage. Today, he remains as in-demand as ever, from the UK to Dubai, and has now curated a triple- CD, Long Live House Volume 01: 1980s that catalogues the music’s genesis.
