Welcome to the 100th edition of Cotswold Style! This August Cotswold Style is getting into the Olympic spirit and even if you’re not heading off to Rio you can still experience all the fun from the pages of this month’s magazine. There are many Cotswold-based Olympians and our Real Life is Olympic Gold medalist Alex Gregory. This magnificent rower is part of the squad for the Men’s Coxless Fours and will once again be trying to emulate the gold winning crews of the past four Olympics. We also feature other local athletes including the courageous Mel Nicholls, the Cheltenham-based Wheelchair star who is destined for a Paralympian medal in Rio. Rachel Cappuccini sets the scene for celebratory parties with delicious Brazilian recipes and our interior writers are taking us to the carnival with a riot of colour for the home. Fitness expert Luciano Kydd gets you into the training zone of an Olympian while Beauty writer Catherine Shortall recommends some make-up trends for summer.
