EARLY DAYS

When we were growing up, my sister, who’s four years older than me, used to pretend she was a cook on television – I was always the sous chef!

WARM WELCOME

I was lucky to grow up in a family in which everything was homemade. Mum could make a fantastic meal out of anything in the fridge. My memories are of stews, soups and cassoulet. We had an Aga, and if Mum was out at work there would be a note on the table saying: „Supper is ready on the bottom shelf.”
