UNAPOLOGETICALLY Jayde Adams

THE BRISTOLIAN COMEDIAN TALKS PUNK, SPAM AND OPERA

It’s an apt description considering her impressive array of skills; she can do stand-up that will make your sides split, sing opera that will stir your soul, and she’s as fierce and fabulous as Ursula the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid. Her tour-de-force comedy led her to win the Funny Women competition in 2014 and this year her debut hour-long show, Jayde 31, was nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We caught up with Jayde, fresh from the stage of the Stonewall Stand Up Sessions, where she rocked the room with her sensational performance.
