To lose someone once is unfortunate, twice is careless. Six times, well that’s just plain premeditated. I’m referring of course to the murders of six more lesbian and bi TV characters this month, taking it up to 12 this year.
The latest deceased’s names are Lexa, Denise, Mary-Louise, Nora, Camilla and Mimi and they are survived by millions of distraught and angry lesbian and bi fans. Those responsible for the deaths in The 100, The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries and Empire will not be charged although The 100 showrunner Jason Rothenberg has apologised and will no doubt think twice before he kills off another non-heterosexual character.
