MOON EXPECTS FIRST TOURISTS IN 2018

Two unnamed space travel enthusiasts are preparing for the trip of a lifetime when they travel 384,000 km to the moon and back in 2018. The two, who are said not to be Hollywood stars, have shelled out significantly more than one might for the average beach holiday (estimates say millions of dollars) in order to finance the adventure – a week-long trip organised by US private rocket company SpaceX. Their vacation will likely attract a lot of attention: no humans have crossed the low Earth orbit, the edge of which is found 2,000 km from Earth, since 1972 when the last Apollo mission ended.
