THE ANDROID INVASION

FORCED TO FIND A NEW WORLD TO INHABIT, THE Kraals of Oseidon have devised a genocidal plan for Earth. Hijacking the XK5 – a new space freighter being tested in the late twentieth century – they brainwash its pilot, Commander Guy Crayford. The astronaut is told by the Kraals that their surgeon, Styggron, saved his life when gyro failure nearly tore him apart. Crayford hears how the aliens want to share Earth, so agrees to help them land peacefully and unopposed. To do this he will establish a bridgehead at the British Space Defence Establishment, Devesham Control, a mile from the village of Devesham near Didcot.
