MV AGUSTA & ZAGATO’S F4Z

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE ...

When MV released teasers for the F4Z, many (us included) wrongly interpreted it as their next bike, or at the very least as a concept. Not quite…

The F4Z has been built in collaboration with MV Agusta and Zagato, as a one-off special for a Japanese entrepreneur. Zagato opened in 1919 when they specialised in two-door sportscars. These days they are a ‘Total Design’ centre and also a coach-building atelier. The only remaining independent Italian coach-builder, their craft is much sought after in the car world.

Zagato are a dab hand with four wheels, their day job...

This is the firm that penned the Vanquish Zagato for Aston Martin at a cool half million quid (and it’s already sold out). The looks probably aren’t for all, but we like the collaboration – which also sticks two fingers up to AMG in the process, maybe?
