Ford & Fordson  |  Cornish County
As I suggested in my last ‘Welcome’, we try to include something for everyone in F&FT and this issue is no exception. I’m pleased with the diversity of it and am happy to report that those of you I’ve asked for an opinion on the two issues I have under my belt so far have been more than complimentary. As always, if you don’t like the mix of features, I would urge you to contact me and voice your concerns. If nobody writes in, I’ll assume you’re all happy! Now, if I may, I’d like to take this opportunity to plea for information. At Ramsey Rural Museum on 29 September, I was admiring a Ford 6610 at work with a Ransomes five furrow plough and was intending to have a chat with the driver but when I eventually headed over to his plot, he’d gone. So, if anyone knows who owns UGV 625X, please get in touch. New for this issue is the introduction of Andrew Hall. Regular readers of F&FT’s sister title, Tractor & Machinery, will be aware of Andrew’s prowess with the spanners and so I’m particularly pleased that he’s agreed to ‘come on board’ and write practical features for us. I don’t think Andrew will mind me saying that his loyalties are split between Ferguson/MF and Fordson/Ford but, as you’ll see later in the magazine, the E27N is a particular favourite of his and will be scrutinised in future issues. If you have a practical conundrum that you’d like some help with, please get in touch via the usual channels and I’ll pass your correspondence to the man himself. All that’s left for me to say is I hope you enjoy your tractors and any events you’re attending over the coming weeks and, most importantly, stay safe. Until next time, best wishes,
