WHY DANCING QUEENS HAVE THE EDGE
LATIN DANCING may be the solution to improving fitness and physical activity levels in older adults, a new study has found. After four months of twice-weekly dance classes, previously inactive 65-year-olds were able to walk faster and, on average, boosted their physical activity by an extra 24 minutes each day. No need to wait until you’re eligible for a pension, though – dig out that list of local evening classes and sign up for samba!
