As a night nurse I always struggled with healthy eating, then about two years ago I found out I was diabetic. I found it difficult to change my eating habits and lose the extra weight I’d put on over the years, especially as I’m intolerant to legumes and pulses, which feature heavily in healthy recipes. Your magazine not only gave me the inspiration to eat more healthily, but provided exciting recipes and ways to be more active, and I’ve now lost over 4st. I especially enjoyed the diabetes advice you gave in last year’s November issue. I’m so impressed I’ve been subscribing to the magazine for over a year now. ZOE CASSIDY
