How to sleep better – cure your snoring (p15), and use the right beauty products (p50)
Sleep is a hot issue. As a society, never have we been so focused on the importance of sleep and the generally accepted idea that, as a nation, we are in the middle of a sleep crisis (because even though we want to nod off, we are powerless against work stress, 24/7 emails, Netflix, Instagram et al, which steal our dream time). And now, with the clocks changing and the progression into warmer, lighter evenings, it can make it even more of a challenge to get that good night’s sleep (whatever that is).
Welcome, then, to our Sleep issue. As always, we look to go behind the headlines and challenge the received wisdom. Hence, this issue, we question whether we really are in a sleep crisis at all, page 43. We give air time to an expert who believes that all the official ways of treating insomnia are in fact making it worse, page 15. And, because we’re all about making life easier for you, we share her solution for fixing it, along with ideas for tackling snoring, page 23 (apparently, women are worse offenders than men), a lovely Pilates routine for bedtime, page 126, and beauty products that work best while you’re off duty, page 50.
