The prospect of a truly smart home is tempting to many, especially as developments in the latest products become ever more helpful in day-to-day life around the house. Sayu and Sharon Sinha took the plunge and embraced the latest innovations while renovating and remodelling a dated Edwardian property that had been functioning as a five-studio HMO (house in multiple occupation) - and in doing so, immeasurably improved their family’s life. Tasked with the challenge of transforming the run-down property into a family home, Sayu integrated smart technology in the design process from the outset to help him visualise each room down to the finest details.
