TIM STOCKDALE: 1964 - 2018
He was a showjumping legend, a grafter, a family man and passionate about his sport — and he had a smile that “lit up a room”. The equestrian world is
mourning the loss of Tim Stockdale, who died on 14 November, aged fifty four.
Tim, who had been diagnosed with stomach cancer in October, died peacefully at Cynthia Spencer Hospice, Northampton, surrounded by his devoted wife, Laura, and sons Joseph and Mark. Social media has been flooded with tributes from riders of all disciplines and levels, from members of the public and figures
from outside the equestrian world.
