Cobra was born wild and rounded up in Nevada in 2010 at age 6. Classifi ed as a “three strikes” Mustang after being passed over at three different adoption events, he eventually found a home with Marsha Hartford Sapp, who saw his potential. By 2013, he was competing in Third Level dressage. He was Horse of the Year in Western Dressage in 2015, and now competes at Prix St. Georges in traditional dressage. Cobra was named the 2018 U.S. Equestrian National Horse of the Year.
