iDrum magazine: Never miss a beat April 2015 Back Issue

Welcome to our April issue! What a great time of year – the days are getting longer, the sun isn’t hiding away anymore and there is plenty of new drum gear on the market for us to check out.
We’re pleased to welcome the ever-inspiring Keith Carlock to the cover this month. The man who has maintained the Steely Dan gig ever since he upped sticks and moved to New York tells us about switching his endorsements, developing his style and taking on the Toto legacy.
The drummer powering Two Door Cinema Club’s hits, Ben Thompson, caught up with us after his master classes at the London Drum Show and told us how he’s happy being ‘just the drummer’ in one of the biggest festival bands currently plying their trade.
Cassell The Beatmaker updates us on his latest projects and how co-producing the third Bassistry album went. Spiritualized’s Jonny 8Track had a musically life-changing event with an orchestra and tells us about his solo album. While Aaron Solowoniuk explains life with Canadian rockers Billy Talent, but also talks about how his diagnosis with multiple sclerosis at an early age inspired him not only to carry on drumming, but also to raise money and awareness for others who have been diagnosed.
Jost Nickel is back with part two of his guest tuition and we are giving away a set of Aerodrums on, which can turn your air drumming dreams into reality. We host a Caught Live report from Thomas Lang’s latest clinic tour – where the audience were given further evidence that the man is a drumming machine! Our London Drum Show Newsbeats page is back, so you can find out all the latest announcements right there from now on. And as usual, we also have reviews, news, tuition and much, much more!
