EVENTS ARE flying by so quickly that writing about current events runs the risk of the text being out of date within the hour. On the same day my article on the front-runners for the European Parliament Presidency was published, Guy Verhofstadt withdrew his candidacy, and the election still took an almost-unprecedented four ballots before Italian Conservative Antonio Tajani was elected. Of course, the past few years have shown us not to relax when it comes to politics, regardless of how secure the status quo may seem, and so it should be the same for our magazines!
In Westminster, David Mundell has said he doesn’t see a Scotland-specific solution in relation to the market access.
