The omens are good. Ashcroft’s latest poll shows a majority for Independence and that poll takes no account of young potential voters and Europeans in Scotland who are dismayed by England’s increasing xenophobia. Add to that the slide toward a hard Brexit and the economic shock to the country. All of us have friends who voted No in 2014 who are now convinced of the merits of an Independent Scotland within the European Community. Wonderful times await!
