The lead up to Christmas Day brings the most joy for me, even more so when the gifts exchanged are from the garden and the Christmas lunch centrepiece is surrounded by vegetables that were picked the day before from the allotment. All that work during the month of April, the busiest month of seed sowing in the British calendar, has all been worth it. So here is a selection of my Christmas veg.
