In this article I want to demonstrate how you can produce finished drawings without using a lot of pencils and other materials, and how to mix primary colours to achieve all the colours you need. You will also learn how to lighten areas without using a white pencil.


Pencil pressure I always add many layers in my work to ensure the picture doesn’t fade over time. Usually I apply light pressure with the pencil as I build up the layers.
