During the Season of Creation (September 1-October 4) the World Communion of Reformed Churches declared a climate emergency and called on member churches to take action on climate change.
In a statement released on September 24 the WCRC stated: “The Season of Creation is our special time for the Creator and each other, calling us to dedicate one month, from September 1st to October 4th, to reflection on our stewardship over God’s Creation. Christians all around the world celebrate it in many ways: some pray, some do hands-on projects, and some advocate. During this season each one of us is expected to care for God’s given Creation to mankind.
