Going down the direct-drive route, Paul Rigby runs the rule over Reloop’s Turn 5 turntable

On first inspection, arriving with a smart-looking lid, the Reloop Turn 5 appears similar to a Technics SL1200; generally speaking, the plinth looks the same. The meaty, massy plinth with, on the front-left, a relatively large square start/stop button with smaller rectangular speed select buttons to its right (including third 78rpm button, significantly), plus the power control above that also holds that giveaway strobe light, give it a familiar feel.
