During my ‘life in music’, I sometimes gain a greater appreciation of a particular artist’s talent through having had their recorded work pass through my hands over and over and over again. One of these outstanding people is American music producer Patrick Adams.
I won’t attempt an in-depth overview of Patrick’s career because a column of this length could not begin to do justice to the man’s body of work. I first noticed Patrick’s name on an obscure NYC Disco 12” by Queen Yahna, Ain’t It Time on a Harlembased label called P&P in 1988.
