By the time you read this the iPhone 15 will have been announced, but, at the time of writing this column, the only fact I have to go on is the date of 12 September for the announcement. So, I don’t want to make a guess at what camera spec or processor the new iPhone will contain, but one prediction I’m confident in making is that it won’t fold.*
Folding phones from the likes of Samsung, Google and Motorola are all the rage these days, which is why it’s curious that Apple is taking so long to jump on board. iPhone upgrades happen once every 12 months, so with the iPhone 15 staying as stiff as a board for another year that means Apple is going to slip further and further behind the competition, staying out of the fold…
