If you haven’t seen it, the new Nike advert, ‘Choose Go’, imagines a world where the world stops spinning on its axis. A growing group of internationally united runners take to the streets. Inspired by a hamster running in its wheel, their plan is to get the world moving once again. It’s ridiculous. But it’s meant to be. For decades we’ve been sold the idea that the trainers you buy is a world-changing decision. Just perhaps, this is Nike’s tonguein- cheek admission that what’s most important is just getting out there.
