COLOMBIA
Mocoa, Colombia— A boy rests next to a motorcycle on April 2, after floods and mudslides killed more than 200 people. Rescue workers locked to the city, clawing through rubble and debris to look for survivors. Despite the lack of food, electricity or clean water, survivors and rescue workers remained undeterred. As one woman told Reuters as she searched for her daughters and granddaughter: “I need to know where they are.… If they are dead, please, God deliver them to me.”
